tex/tiles. tex/tiles. little read ex/iles.
Founded by Dawn Pendergast, the Textile Series is a micro-press with a mission to publish experimental poetry and translations, one chapbook at a time. Most chapbooks are 5.5″ by 4.25″ with fabric covers.
We love chapbooks & poets. We love little ones, little known. We love things that fit into trouser pockets, plush covers, uneven stitches and folds.

... it’s a situation of the smallest of presses taking on responsibility that really belongs to the largest trade publishers imaginable – except that the big houses have abandoned literature save as product. One result is that Little Red Leaves has more compelling product than most of the trades. These books use fabric remnants – from sheets to shower curtains – for cover stock & seem as fragile as they are beautiful...
Somewhere between the limited fine arts edition and the small press magazine chapbook series falls a project like that from little red leaves textiles. Sewn in remnant cloth, issued in runs of sometimes only 50, each is a pocket-sized joy of small press endeavoring.
COMING AT YOU EM-DASHED, A LITTLE WRINKLED, AND NEEDLESSLY OBSCURE.
