Little Red Leaves Textile Series is a small press that publishes chapbooks by experimental poets and writers. All chapbooks are constructed using fabric and other upcycled materials. Most cost only $8.

Join us at Grayduck Gallery @ 2213 E. Cesar Chavez on Saturday, August 9th, doors at 7:30 pm, reading at 8 pm! Featuring the works of Dan Boehl, Katy Chrisler and Carrie Hunter.

Dan Boehl is a founding editor of Birds, LLC, an independent poetry publisher, which put out his book Kings of the F**king Sea. He helps run the Austin reading series Fun Party.

Katy Chrisler received her MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop in 2012 and was a recent fellow at the Land Arts of the American West traveling residency program. Previous poems of hers have appeared in Tin House, Poor Claudia, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and Octopus Magazine. She currently lives in Austin, Texas and works at The Contemporary Austin as the Publications Coordinator.

Carrie Hunter received her MFA/MA in the Poetics program at New College of California, edits the chapbook press, ypolita press, and is on the editorial board of Black Radish Books. She has published chapbooks with Cy Gist Press, Dusie, Arrow as Aarow, Lew Gallery Editions, Birds of Lace, and gavia immer. Her full-length collection, The Incompossible, was published in 2011 by Black Radish Books. Other work has recently appeared in Vector Press, the anthology It’s Night in San Francisco But its Sunny in Oakland, Armed Cell, Finery, Eleven Eleven, sparkle + blink 51, Big Bridge, and Scud Magazine. She lives in San Francisco.
